Day 1
Arrival
Arrival Day, we look forward to welcoming you to the lodge. After check in and a quick tour, you are free to relax by the pool or have a drink at the bar before dinner which is served at 7pm on the main deck under the stars (weather permitting).
Day 2
Kruger National Park
‘The early bird catches the worm’ Depending on the time of year (Winter /Summer) an early start is in order to make the most of the animal activity before the heat of the day sets in. You will experience the Kruger National Park from an open vehicle (with roof). We will send you off with a packed breakfast which you will have at one of the scenic beauty spots that you stop at on the day. Lunch (not included) is at one of the rest camps in the park where there is a restaurant. You will return to the lodge where you will have time to shower the dust off from the day and meet at the boma for a sundowner drink before another delicious dinner will be served.
Day 3
Leisure Day at Lodge
Today is a well-deserved leisure day. A day to relax and enjoy the lodge, the pool or relax reading a book on your private balcony. Should you want to book additional activities, we can assist with activity information.
Day 4
Panorama Route Day Tour
You will be collected from reception at 8am after breakfast. The first stop on the Panorama tour is the iconic 3 Rondavels. As seen on all Tourism Africa’s advertisements all over the world, the 3 rondavels are spectacular. You can look down into the Blyde River Canyon and view the meandering river. The tour also makes stops at Bourkes Luck Potholes, Lisbon Falls, Gods Window. Lunch (not included) is at a restaurant in Graskop. You will return to the lodge at approx. 4pm.
Day 5
Bush-walk & Manyeleti Big 5 Game Drive
Rise early for an enjoyable bush walk on Guernsey Private Nature Reserve. Walking through the bush is a completely different experience than on a safari vehicle. Alert your senses to the sounds of the wide variety of birds we have here. Let your knowledgeable guide highlight plants and smaller wildlife that you would otherwise miss on a drive. A real guest favourite activity. The bush walk is a gentle stroll through the bush and is conducted at a pace suitable for all the guests participating. The walk takes approx. 90 minutes. Guests should pack walking shoes/ trainers, a sun hat, suncream and a large water bottle for this activity. Walks can be done early morning or late afternoon but we recommend mornings before it gets too hot.

At 2pm, you will be collected at reception for an afternoon Manyeleti Safari (Big 5) . We will send you off with sundowner drinks and some snacks. This reserve is located next door to the Kruger park (unfenced) and is a lot quieter in terms of vehicles.

Return to the lodge for dinner at 7pm.

Departure
For Guests who require transfers to either Johannesburg or Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport, this can be arranged in advance. Please email us for the rates.
