Overview

As your plane begins its descent, the vast African landscape unfurls beneath you, a patchwork of golden savannahs, winding rivers, and dense, emerald thickets. The sun casts long shadows across the terrain, illuminating the rich hues of the earth and promising adventure. The plane touches down softly on the airstrip, and you are warmly greeted by the camp's staff, their welcoming smiles a prelude to the exceptional experience awaiting you. You board a rugged yet comfortable safari vehicle that traverses the untamed wilderness. The air is tinged with the scent of acacia trees and the earthy aroma of the savannah. A symphony of sounds surrounds you: the distant roar of a lion, the trumpeting of an elephant, and the melodious songs of countless birds. The anticipation builds as you approach the camp, nestled in the heart of the wilderness. Stepping out of the vehicle, you are met with a scene of rustic elegance. The canvas tents, each a private sanctuary, blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Inside, the tents are a haven of luxury: king-sized beds draped with fine linens, plush furnishings, and en-suite bathrooms with steaming hot showers. The gentle breeze carries the calls of the wild through the open flaps, reminding you of the adventure that lies just beyond your doorstep. As the sun dips below the horizon, the camp transforms into a magical retreat. Lanterns cast a warm, golden glow, illuminating the pathways and creating a cozy ambiance. The sounds of the wild grow more pronounced, the nocturnal symphony a backdrop to your evening. Dinner is served under a canopy of stars, a gourmet feast prepared with the freshest local ingredients. Each bite is a celebration of flavors, complemented by fine wines and the crackle of the campfire. Over the next three days, you will embark on thrilling game drives at dawn and dusk, guided by expert rangers who share their deep knowledge of the land and its inhabitants. You will witness the breathtaking beauty of Africa's iconic wildlife up close: the stealthy leopard, the majestic elephant, the towering giraffe, and the powerful lion. Each encounter is a moment of awe and wonder, a reminder of the incredible diversity and raw beauty of the natural world. Between adventures, you will relax in the camp's communal areas, perhaps with a book in hand or sharing stories with fellow travelers. The infinity pool offers a refreshing escape, with views that stretch endlessly across the plains. Afternoons can be spent indulging in a spa treatment, the skilled hands of the therapist easing away any remnants of stress. Your fly-in safari at andBeyond Tented Camp is more than a journey; it is an immersion into the heart of Africa, where luxury and wilderness coexist in perfect harmony. Each moment is crafted to create memories that will linger long after the final sunset. Drive to the Greater Kruger National Park where you will spend time at the beautiful Camp George Lodge inside the Simbavati Game Reserve. En route you will enjoy the very scenic Panorama Route including the Blyde River Canyon and God's Window.
